At an altitude of 728 meters, Quéribus projects its elegant silhouette above a superb panorama, stretching from the sea to the Pyrenees. The last bastion of Cathar resistance, then a border fortress of France, it is an excellent example of medieval defensive architecture. Its majestic Gothic hall and exceptional state of preservation are unique among these vertiginous citadels.

Free fun and educational trails available upon request at the castle reception / FR-GB-DE-ES

Discover: the Achille Mir audiovisual space with two screenings, "The Keys of Quéribus" and "The Priest of Cucugnan"
